These guys were amazing!! After our wood furnace got condemned we went searching locally to get a new propane heating system installed. Local businesses were either not interested or the dates to install were December/January. We couldn’t wait that long and luckily found Kawartha Heating Solutions. In 1 1/2 days they installed a new system which works perfectly. Keith and Caleb worked non stop to get the job done and were super professional. Price was very fair and we are so pleased with the work done. If you are in the Bancroft area and need a good heating contractor go to these guys - you won’t be disappointed. We bought a place last year and needed to convert our oil heating system to a propane system as well as do an update on our water heater and install an Ac unit within a really tight time frame. KHS has been so amazing to work with, professional, efficient, timely, and knowledgable. He walked us through the whole process and was always available to answer any questions we had. We recently had them come out just to do an annual maintenance check, and again, extremely happy with their service, we are nothing but grateful to have come across their business. We purchased a home with a very outdated oil/wood combination furnace system. So outdated that the heating vents were not up to code. Keith handled everything for us, and was good at explaining each step. Our insurance company was pleased and we had no issues when we presented them with the upgrades. We now have a new propane heating system, a separate wood stove in the basement and upgraded venting. This was no small job, as he also had to install a 45 foot chimney liner in an A-frame style chalet. We would definitely recommend his company. ~ Craig C

Arrived home from Florida vacation. No heat. Fireplace out. Furnace out. Called Kawartha. Left a message 11:00 pm. 4 degrees outside. 15 degrees and cooling inside. The owner immediately called back. Polite gentleman said he would be here with-in 45 minutes. He arrived with a huge equipment trailer. He was prepared and very professional. I invited him inside. He set immediately upon the job at hand. He was very informative and explained every step and the reason behind it. He was very efficient. He solved both issues. We have heat and lots of it. Keith came to my home to help me assess what would be best to heat my home. He is very knowledgeable, and ran through my options. When we settled on what would work best, he sent me a detailed, and reasonable quote. We scheduled the installation in advance, and he and his son Caleb arrived right on time. By mid-afternoon that day the propane fireplace I had chosen was installed and good to go (he had already contacted the propane suppliers, who had delivered the tank). We called this company when we noticed a gas leak in our house. Keith came right away even though it was very late at night. What we thought was a small issue ended up being a much larger issue, but Keith made us a priority and everything was fixed within 24 hours at a very reasonable cost. My chimney caught on fire so I called Keith and he came out and told me what happened and why and then went over my options to get my wood stove going again. Then he didn’t even charge me anything for coming out and diagnosing my chimney issues. I was prepared to pay a service fee but he said because I was local he didn’t need to take any money from me for his fuel or time. Once it came to moving my wood stove and building a new chimney they were super professional, he was so fast and efficient and explained everything to me from start to finish and he gave me a quote that included the minimum and parts that may be required depending on what happens once he started. It turned out that it needed even more than what he thought BUT he stuck to his original quote so that there was no extra cost to me even though there was extra cost to him. He explained everything to me start to finish and spent extra time to tell me the best way to use my wood stove so that I wouldn’t have the same issues again. On top of all that they left with no mess! I couldn’t be more pleased. ~ Tracey H

Keith is fantastic to deal with. One stop shop. Installation and certification and all done at a fair price with quality workmanship. The cottage is located up in Gooderham / Haliburton area. Keith had no issues servicing the area and I would highly recommend him to everyone. I sourced the stove myself and had Keith take care of installation. We have had it through 2 winters now and it has been wonderful. Top quality materials used. The exterior Stainless Steel chimney still looks brand new. Its nice to be able to fire it up with confidence and we've never triggered our smoke or carbon monoxide alarm. Keith guided us through the process remotely asking for measurements etc such that he could save us time/money by avoiding multiple trips. Over a few phone calls and emails he had enough info to come up and get the job done in a morning and was done by lunch. My better half was there on the day of installation as I couldn't be, she said Keith and helper were very polite, friendly and tidy workers. Thanks again Keith. Chimney Cleaning/Birds nest removal and Cap Installation -Fast Professional Service, faster response to my message than their competitors, Although busy came the next day to help as their competitor left me in a bind. Although it was a difficult job they charged as per their original quote which was $380 cheaper than Jeff Martin Chimney Mnt. Would highly recommend them and use their services again. ~ Oleg C
